Cookies
In effect from 1 October 2026
The short version: KAAM uses the cookies that keep you signed in, and nothing else. No analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no banner asking you to accept any.

1. Why there is no cookie banner
The law requires your consent before a site stores anything on your device that is not strictly necessary for the service you asked for. Everything KAAM stores is strictly necessary - it is what keeps you signed in as you move between pages. So there is nothing to ask you about.
We think a banner for cookies that need no consent is worse than none: it asks permission that is not required and teaches people to click past the notices that do matter.
2. What is actually stored

3. What we do not use
- No Google Analytics or any other analytics that identifies you.
- No advertising pixels, and nothing shared with an advertising network.
- No session recording. We do not watch you move around the site.
- No cookies from third parties embedded in our pages.
We do use an error reporting service so that a page that breaks gets fixed. It records what went wrong and strips the query string from the address; it is configured not to collect personal data, and it does not set a cookie.
4. Turning them off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking the sign-in cookies means you cannot sign in - not because we are being difficult, but because there is then no way for the next page to know it is you.
5. If this changes
If we ever add something that is not strictly necessary, we will ask you first, properly, and this page will say what it is before it runs. Questions to privacy@kaam.uk; the fuller picture is in the privacy notice.
