Cancelling a job
Updated 25 September 2026
Before a job is agreed - the customer can cancel it at any time. Nothing is charged to anyone.
Once the contract is confirmed, and until the work is complete - either side can cancel, and has to give a reason. The reason is recorded on the job.
What a cancellation does to the record - a cancelled job never creates a completion, never counts towards a professional's verified jobs, and cannot be reviewed. A cancellation after the contract was confirmed is kept on the professional's record as a cancellation.
A professional's plan is not affected by a cancelled job: the plan is a flat monthly price, whatever happens to any one job.
