How bids are compared

Every bid uses the same structure so it can be compared like for like: labour, materials, other costs, VAT, total, earliest start, duration, warranty, exclusions and notes.

The comparison page always shows the raw terms of each bid. The reading aids - cheapest, earliest start, no exclusions - are labels, never a hidden score, and KAAM never awards a job on your behalf.

When the AI comparison is available it explains the differences in plain words: which bid is cheapest, which is the best overall fit for the scope, material exclusions, anything a bid seems to have missed, timing differences and any risk flags. It explains; you decide.
